The Chilean Weichafes make their long awaited return to the international Rugby League arena this Saturday when the South American representative team takes on the Philippines Tamaraws at Pioneer Park in Malabar.
The Chileans, who were the first South American nation to become an International Rugby League member, have been unable to take part in an international fixture for three seasons due to COVID-19, face the Tamaraws in the first international Test between the two countries.
The Philippines, who most recently played against Brazil in last June, winning 40 – 8 and claiming the Magellan Cup, will come into the clash as favourites as both nations look to move up the World Rankings.
