Japan will play its first full international since 2019 when the Samurais take on the El Salvador national team this October in Sydney.
The match, which will take place at Mascot Oval, will be the first hit out between the two nations and will see both teams include domestic players in their squads.
The Japanese Samurais will feature no less than players from the National Cup competition, with Hiroshi Fukasaw, Hiroshi Fukasawa, So Miyake, Yuchi Mori, Travis Drury, Kazuki Otake and Seiya Kakuta from the South Ikebukuro Rabbitohs and Yuto Sasaki from the Kansai Kaminari making the trek from the East Asian nation.
Kick off for the match will be at 13:00 on Sunday, October 9.
