Heritage Rugby League and players from several member clubs enjoyed the opportunity to attend the NSWRL Inclusion Day at the NSWRL Centre of Excellence at Sydney Olympic Park on Sunday 22 March 2026.
This featured attendees from HRL and other organisations such as WhatAbility, Game Changers, Physical Disability Rugby League, and Try Time, who showcased the diversity of the game, and the powerful role that they play to inspire and connect communities to play a part, to participate in the game.
Elite current and former players such as Millie Elliott, Craig Wing and Ian Roberts led the festivities, including exhibition games and fun activities.
Players attended from 7 HRL clubs, from Africa United Lions/South Sudan Buffaloes, Malta Heritage, Mediterranean-Middle East, Niue-Australia, Philippines-Australia, Thailand Naga, Tonga NSW Stallions.
They played an exhibition game of LeagueTag between Team Red and Team Blue, showcasing he diversity of Heritage Rugby League NSW. Afterwards, they joined participants from other communities in a Game For All, bringing a wonderful culmination to the day.
